It Bites: Eat Me In St Louis

This is one band that has tried hard to shake off it's stuffy progressive rock image
Sadly, a collection of sometimes ponderous and often fluffy rock songs, is not the way to do it
And an album sleeve designed by over-used artist Roger Dean won't help either, or one of those clever but nausteating puns for a title
Still, All that said, Eat Me is not a bad album - especially when compared to most of the trash on the market
It's just that one expected so much more from them, something as least as catchy as their chart breaking single Calling all the Heroes.
On the plus side, the album is highly listenable, well produced and sharply arranged.
