Francis Dunnery

He was Born on 25th December 1962 and lived in Egremont, Cumbria. He had a Catholic Upbringing and attended Wyndham Comprehensive School.
Francis Dunnery sang Lead Vocals and played Lead Guitar
During his career with It Bites, Francis invented a unique 'guitar' named the Tapboard, which boasted some hi-tech equipment such as a shower hose and an egg timer!, However this remarkable instrument attracted media attention, in Sounds and Making Music, and was played with incredible skill on the album Once Around The World.
An article in Sounds, claims that Francis's first love was for drums, and that it was kind of inevitable that he would go on to invent the tapboard!

Francis left It Bites in 1990 and continued his musical career as a solo artist. He has to date recorded three studio albums, and is (hopefully) very soon to release a new album.
He now lives in America and is soon to release his fourth solo album.
