At the age of five he was playing the accordian. His father was a Country and Western singer and at the age of 11, John was playing those gig's with him!. He left school at 16 and met Francis after playing with a band.
When Francis Dunnery left It Bites in 1990, John made transition from keyboards to guitar, as the band eventually renamed themselves Navajo Kiss.
Since It Bites John
has been spotted working on several other projects
including Touring around the Far East with John Wetton.
