Hello folks!
Dick here. I'd like to tell you a little of what I was doing for three days last week. I had been invited by ex-genesis keyboard player Tony Banks, to play Bass on three tracks on his forthcoming solo album. I went down to a studio owned by Genesis called 'The Farm' in Surrey to record my Bass parts. A couple of weeks previous to this I had been given a tape containing the keyboard and drum parts on computer. I then had to put the bass parts to them. Our old friend Steve Hillage was there as producer, and Pino Paladino was playing bass on some of the other tracks.
I must admit I was rather nervous initially as this was the first time I'd played anyone elses material. However, a great time was had by all, and you will be able to hear the results some time next year, when the album is released.
