Phil Roughton

I got hooked on It Bites after seeing them on, Whistle Test (June / July 1986) when they perfomed "Calling All The Heroes" and "Screaming On The Beaches" I was totally awe struck with their music and they were actually playing live....my breath was simply taken away.

I managed to see them around 30 times and have so many fond memories of going up and down the country to see them, I was living in Birmingham then. I roughed it in London once to see them play for the Appreciation Society just before "Once Around The World" was released, I stopped with Maggie when they played in Cumbria and had a guided tour of Egremont by Frank, went to Carlisle to see them on Get Fresh....and so many other wonderful memories.
