Ether's first single "He Say Yeah" is on the cover disc of November 1997 Select Magazine. For the small price of £2.30 you could of had the disc called 'Be There Now' and the magazine too..

Ether's debut single, released on Regal last year, and given a tarting up for the forthcoming L.P. A heliumed-up ode to male indiscretion, it signposts the band as harmonius post-brit pop, educated in the way of tune.
Rory Meredith : We released a version which we recorded with John leckie, but this is the new version for the album which we recorded in February. We did that at Mayfair studios in Primose Hill, did eight tracks in as many days - really bollocked through it, we did. The actual song is about adultery, why men can never say no. If a good looking woman comes up to you and says ' Come to bed with me' then you're not going to say no, are you? Is it from personal experience? No, but I've seen it happen.
